"I Love My Church" series summary

LifePoint Student Ministry just finished a series called "I love my Church" This amazing series taught us that 1) the Church is the bride of Christ. (Eph. 5.23), 2) The church is a battleship not a cruise ship, 3) You belong, the church is the place for you (Ps 84.10, Mat. 5.12-14) and 4) the church is community (Acts 2.42-47) and the church is the center of community (Matt. 5.14-16) What an awesome reminder that is it God who coined the phrase “I love my church”.  It originated with him, He loved the church first. (1 John 4:19 Jer. 31.31)  We are encouraging students to join us in “I love my church” by picking up a t-shirt for $12 and wearing it to their school as a great conversation starter!
