This morning during Dawn Patrol, the leaders in charge didn't show up, so Rachel Jackson one of our counselors lead the worship time. It was such a blessing to see our leaders fill whatever need the Lords places in front of us.
Today was the Biathalon, Brandon Buonacorsci took 3rd place in the run, David Wiesenthal placed 6th and Christian took 16th in the Swim. The students also put together three different basketball teams for the three man B-ball tourney at the Ark. They had a blast, although none of them made it past the first round, The team: Christian, Theo and Justin, lost by one point to the team that ended up taking first place.
Kajabe can-can finals were in the evening after the concert by the band Campaign, we didn't have any students in the finals but it sure was fun to watch, Aaron Buonacorsci and Jeff Mark pound on some of the other counselors during the counselor round.
After a short morning chapel, there were about 10 different Hume Staffer's leading breakout sessions. One of our students said the session they attended was the most impactfull session they had ever attended at Hume.
Tomorrow night will be a time for students to rededicate their lives to Christ. It will also be a time for our group to gather around a camp fire for God-sightings while we enjoy roasted marshmellows. CVC students interested in Baptism's will stay and here Q&A and the purpose of baptism. I believe we are up to baptising 9 students this Friday.
